I am cleaning my hoover power scrub carpet cleaner,specifically the scrubby,turny,thingies in the front,how do iget the microscopic sludge separated from the s,t,t, (abbreviation for a couplea sentences back,it seems to have gained self awareness,convinced if coaxed from its safety green home,that it shall only exist in teensy bits in the drain,and the memory of how to drive a housewife Mad(the crazy kind of mad,actually the Patsy Kline kind of crazy,so its attractive,not Nurse Ratchet,qanyways,any ideas?Feel free to tell me the aecret cleaner,hopefully it involves bleach and ammonia,i heard thats a great cleaner!my mom told me!

To separate microscopic dirt from the rotating brushes, scrub brushes, and other components at the front of the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner, follow these steps:1. Disconnect the hose and solution tube from the cleaner.2. Drain the solution tube by placing the round end in the sink and raising the trigger end at the hose nozzle above your head. Press the trigger to release air and fluid.3. Replace the hose and tools in the mesh storage bag.4. After using the tool, drain the suction hose by turning the cleaner on and holding the nozzle up for several minutes. Do not press the trigger.5. To clean carpeted stairs, pre-spray the carpeted stair by holding the tool about one inch above the carpet and pushing it forward while pressing the trigger. Position the tool against the riser and slightly press it into the carpet pile. Pull the tool slowly over the carpet, releasing the trigger at the end of the stroke. Lift the tool and position it against the riser, pulling it slowly over the carpet without pressing the trigger. Overlap the strokes by 1/2 inch to prevent streaking.6. Empty the dirty water tank when the motor sound becomes higher pitched and there is a loss in suction.

To put the rubber washer back on the bottom of the tank where you add solution and water on the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner, follow these steps:1. Turn off the cleaner and unplug it from the electrical outlet.2. Release the latch on the dirty water tank to remove it from the carpet cleaner.3. Unplug the quick spout pour cap and rotate it away from the drain hole to empty the tank.4. Make sure to replace the quick spout pour cap to ensure proper suction.5. To clean the dirty water tank, unlatch the dirty water tank lid and remove it.6. Remove any lint from the filter screen located on the bottom of the dirty water tank lid.7. Rinse debris from the dirty water tank lid and the bottom of the tank.8. Insert the tabs on the dirty water tank lid and reattach it to the tank.9. Reattach the recovery tank lid latch.10. Place the recovery tank back onto the cleaner, ensuring proper sealing.11. Make sure the dirty water tank is properly secured before using the cleaner.

The machine vacuums up the water automatically. So take your finger off of the switch and then just keep going over the same spot slowly until you see that there's no more water coming up from the carpeting

My power scrub deluxe was stored outside and hadn’t been used in about a year and a half. When I tried to use the extractor hose all the water in the solution tank was on the floor and after powering on it had a burning smell like a vacuum belt so i turned it off and then it wouldn’t turn back on. How do I find the problem? It was used maybe twice before storing
