About the role:

We’re looking for a data-driven, Retention Marketing Manager to help millions more people discover ZOE through and become lifelong members. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for the Retention Marketing program, which includes our email platform and communications strategy, our website experience which is our main lever to drive membership signups, and how we can leverage our service and nutritionist teams to help improve engagement of our existing members. The ideal person is an ambitious problem solver with some proven experience and passion for retention marketing.

What you’ll do…

  • Create welcome, nurture, retention and winback programs for ZOE members.

  • Deeply understand our existing member audience segments, define new users and help shape their journey with ZOE.

  • Identify and prioritise engagement opportunities based on sizing impact, confidence and effort.

  • Own the strategy and execution of the onboarding nurture path (primarily email at the moment), from setting goals to developing the contact strategy and creative to measurement and optimisation.

  • Create the newsletter strategy, partnering with the Product, Brand Marketing and Coaching teams.

  • Find opportunities to feature all ZOE products (including new food products) in ZOE emails, newsletters and within the app experience.

  • Deploy NPS and Trustpilot campaigns to develop the social proof we need to further market the product beyond members and reach new audiences.

  • Run A/B tests and experiments to increase campaign performance.

  • Partner with the Product team to develop tests and experiments to improve the website experience and increase conversion rates for membership sign ups from visitors.

  • You run a tight ship and have a sharp eye for detail - user journeys across segments get complicated fast, and emails can’t be unsent, so you have it all organised and ensure to get every important element right.

Requirements:

  • Braze experience.

  • Experience working with US based consumers and companies would be considered a bonus.

  • Experience working with Email, Chat, App and SMS campaigns at scale.

  • Experience working niche customer segments in a health or science capacity.

  • DTC Subscription experience is ideal; some form of digital marketing a must.

  • 1-3 years of experience with lifecycle/CRM programs, ideally with high-growth DTC startups.

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices with email CRM experience.

  • Strong copywriting skills and you’ll receive some training on this ongoing too!

  • Analytical with strong understanding of A/B testing.

  • Understanding of customer communication best practices and compliance.

  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • You’re a great collaborator: People love working with you.
