The cinematic adaptation ofIt Ends With Usis setto bloom later this summer, and the trailer for the Sony Pictures film, directed by Justin Baldoni and adapted from Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, racked up a record number of views in the first 24 hours after it debuted.
Starring Blake Lively, who also executive produces, as protagonist Lily Bloom, the clip, set to Taylor Swift’s “My TearsRicochet” shows Lily ecstatic to open her flower shop in Boston, with Jenny Slate’s character Alyssa turning on the neon sign. Alyssa is related to Baldoni’s Ryle Kincaid, who stops by the shop and sparks a connection with Lily. Lily has a traumatic past, but reminders of her parents’ relationship surface in Ryle’s behavioraswell as her reconnection with ex-boyfriend Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar).
